High quality cork fabric with fabric support backing. Cork fabric is environmentally and ecologically friendly. This material is an amazing alternative to leather or vinyl because it is sustainable, washable, stain resistant, durable, antimicrobial and hypoallergenic. Cork fabric has a similar handle to leather or vinyl. It feels like a quality leather: it’s soft, smooth, and pliable. It is not hard or brittle. Cork fabric looks stunning and unique. Use it to make handmade bags, wallets, accents on clothing, craft projects, applique, embroidery, shoes, or upholstery. The fabric support backing is a Polyester base. The fabric is about 1 thick. Cork is 25 - 27 inches wide

The Old Craft Store, started by Richard Fleming and Melba Hamrick, has been in downtown Carrollton, TX since 1971. When it first opened, The Old Craft Store offered woodworking, painting, and sewing classes. If they had just added a “twist” they would have been way ahead of their time.
Melba eventually purchased the business and turned it into the wonderful quilt store it is today: offering quilting fabric, notions, and classes for every level of quilter. When she decided it was time to retire after 48 years at The Old Craft Store, Melba sold the business to a single mom with a love for quilting.
